The sea yields its bounty at Sea Salt Restaurant, where customers are encouraged to choose their “catch” from the variety of fish at the restaurant’s “market” in the restaurant’s brightly lit and tastefully spare dining space. The fish is grilled whole with lemon and salt to preserve texture and flavor. Seafood choices include a lobster roll made with the restaurant’s homemade mayonnaise. For those opting for something other than fish, Sea Salt offers hearty meat selections. It is the house specialty—a fresh whole fish baked in a salt crust so that it’s well-seasoned, moist and flavorful—that distinguishes this restaurant from the standard fish joint. It must be ordered in advance and is well worth the wait.
